In one conversation the odd phrase “the dwarf’s hump” appeared. Rather than pretend to remember an unfamiliar inside joke, asking for clarification was the better response.
We later expressed the distinction humorously: Calling a camel a dwarf by mistake is an error. Confidently describing the dwarf’s hump, desert habitat and role in camel caravans is Uydurulism.
The point goes beyond comedy. AI may sometimes fill gaps with plausible-sounding but unsupported particulars. A confident tone can make such fabrications especially misleading.
Good deliberation includes the ability to say “I do not know.” Not every missing detail needs to be invented.
This anecdote is not an experimental result. It is a conversational observation highlighting the distinction between an error and confident fabrication.
